First-Timer Heels Class FAQ (NoHo/Encino/LA): Nervous? Read This
If you’re nervous, you’re normal. Here are beginner answers to the questions that usually stop people from booking.
Do I need heels?
No rule should block you from starting. If you’re not ready, start in sneakers and learn the movement. You can transition to heels after you build balance and comfort.
What do I wear?
Wear something you can move in and feel good in. There’s no required “look.” The best outfit is the one that lets you focus on learning—not adjusting your clothes.
What if I’m behind?
Beginners learn at different speeds. Your job is to catch one thing each class—posture, a count, a transition. Progress stacks. If you miss a section, reset and rejoin. Staying calm is a skill.
How to book without overthinking
Overthinking is the enemy of action. Pick one class time, book it, then look at preparation tips. You don’t have to feel confident before you book—confidence can be the result.
